Shipping & Delivery Policy
Thank you for shopping with us. Many of our carbon fiber automotive parts are oversized and require made-to-order production, reinforced packaging, ocean freight, customs clearance, and final-mile delivery.
Please review the estimated timeline below before placing your order.
Free Residential Delivery
We offer free standard residential delivery on eligible orders within [the contiguous United States / Canada / your applicable service area].
For oversized shipments, free residential delivery generally means delivery to the curb, driveway, or another safe and accessible location determined by the final-mile carrier.
Unless specifically stated on the product page, free delivery does not include:
- Inside-home or inside-garage delivery
- Carrying products upstairs
- Unpacking or removal of crates and packaging
- Installation or vehicle modification
- Removal of old parts
- Crane, forklift, or other special unloading equipment
- Redelivery or storage caused by an unavailable recipient
- Special services required at limited-access properties
Additional charges may apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, remote areas, islands, rural locations, and addresses outside our standard service area. We will contact you for approval if an additional charge is required before shipment.
Production and Order Preparation
Some products are in stock, while others must be produced after the order is placed.
Order preparation may include production, curing, finishing, quality inspection, export packaging, and preparation of shipping documents.
The estimated preparation time is:
- In-stock products: generally 3–7 business days
- Made-to-order or temporarily out-of-stock products: up to 10 business days
- Customized products: according to the lead time shown on the product page or confirmed by our team
The preparation period begins after your order and payment have been successfully confirmed. Business days do not include weekends or public holidays.
If an unexpected production delay occurs, we will contact you with an updated estimate.
Ocean Freight and Delivery Timeline
Oversized carbon fiber automotive parts are generally shipped by ocean freight. Delivery involves several separate stages:
- Production and order preparation
- Export handling and shipment to the port of origin
- Ocean transportation
- Arrival and unloading at the destination port
- Customs clearance and possible inspection
- Transfer to a local freight terminal
- Final-mile delivery to the customer
The following timeframes are estimates only:
| Shipping stage | Estimated time |
|---|---|
| Production and preparation | Up to 10 business days |
| Export handling and port processing | Approximately 3–7 business days |
| Ocean transportation | Approximately 20–40 calendar days |
| Destination port handling and customs clearance | Approximately 5–15 business days |
| Final-mile residential delivery | Approximately 5–15 business days |
The typical total delivery time is approximately 35–65 calendar days after the order is ready to ship.
Including production and preparation, customers should generally allow approximately 6–10 weeks from the order date for delivery.
Deliveries to Canada, remote regions, islands, or areas far from a major freight terminal may require additional time.
These timeframes are estimates, not guaranteed delivery commitments.
Customs Clearance and Inspections
International ocean shipments must complete customs clearance before they can be released for final delivery.
Customs authorities may select a shipment for document review, X-ray examination, physical inspection, or other regulatory checks. These procedures are outside our control and may add several days or, in uncommon cases, several weeks to the delivery timeline.
Delays may also occur because of:
- Customs document review
- Random or mandatory inspections
- Port congestion
- Container availability
- Vessel schedule changes
- Customs holds
- Government agency requirements
- Severe weather
- Labor disruptions
- Public holidays
- Carrier capacity limitations
We will provide the required commercial shipping documents and cooperate with the freight forwarder or customs broker. However, we cannot guarantee how quickly customs authorities will process or release a shipment.
A customs inspection or government hold does not qualify as a lost shipment.
Duties, Taxes, and Customs Charges
Free shipping refers to the standard transportation service described in this policy.
For cross-border orders, import duties, customs brokerage fees, examination fees, local taxes, port-related charges, and other government-assessed fees are [included / not included], as stated at checkout or on the product page.
If duties and taxes are not specifically listed as included, they are the customer’s responsibility.
The customer must provide any information or documentation reasonably required for customs clearance. Delays caused by missing or inaccurate customer information are not included in our estimated delivery timeline.
Final-Mile Delivery
After customs clearance, the shipment will be transferred to a regional freight terminal or local delivery carrier for final-mile transportation.
Final-mile delivery does not begin immediately when the vessel arrives at the destination port. The cargo must first be unloaded, processed, cleared by customs, released, and transferred to the local carrier.
Once the local carrier receives the shipment, they may contact you by phone, text, or email to schedule a delivery appointment.
Please ensure that:
- Your street address is complete and accurate.
- Your property can be safely accessed by a freight truck.
- Your telephone number and email address are correct.
- An adult is available to receive and inspect the shipment.
- You inform us in advance of gates, narrow roads, steep driveways, restricted access, or other delivery limitations.
Oversized freight cannot be delivered to P.O. boxes.
Final-mile tracking may not become available until the shipment has cleared customs and has been transferred to the local carrier.
Delivery Appointments and Additional Charges
The customer is responsible for cooperating with the carrier to arrange delivery.
Additional charges may apply when:
- The recipient misses a scheduled appointment.
- The carrier is unable to reach the customer.
- The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete.
- A shipment must be stored at the freight terminal.
- Redelivery is required.
- The address requires special access or equipment.
- The customer requests an address change after shipment.
- The customer refuses a shipment without documented transportation damage.
These charges are not included in free standard delivery and may be billed to the customer or deducted from an applicable refund.
Inspecting Your Shipment
Please inspect the shipment carefully before signing the delivery receipt.
Before accepting delivery:
- Check the carton, crate, and protective packaging for punctures, crushing, water damage, dents, or other visible damage.
- Confirm that the number of packages matches the delivery receipt.
- Take clear photos of all sides of the packaging and the shipping label.
- Record all visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
- If the shipment is severely damaged, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
Do not sign the delivery receipt as being in good condition if visible damage is present.
If concealed damage is discovered after unpacking, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and keep all original packaging. Please provide:
- Your order number
- Photos of the shipping label
- Photos of all sides of the outer packaging
- Photos or video showing the damaged area
- Photos of the complete product
- A copy or photo of the delivery receipt
Failure to note visible damage at delivery or provide sufficient documentation may affect our ability to file a freight claim.
Address Changes and Undeliverable Shipments
Please verify your shipping address before placing your order.
Once production or shipping has begun, we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed. An address change may result in additional freight, rerouting, storage, customs, or administrative charges.
If a shipment is returned, stored, or refused because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, missed appointment, restricted access, failure to provide customs information, or refusal without documented transportation damage, the related costs may be charged to the customer.
Delays and Delivery Estimates
All delivery dates are estimates only. Ocean freight does not operate like standard parcel shipping, and tracking may not update continuously while the cargo is at sea, at a port, in customs, or being transferred between carriers.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:
- Customs inspections or government holds
- Port congestion
- Vessel delays or route changes
- Severe weather or natural disasters
- Labor strikes or transportation disruptions
- Government regulations
- Carrier service interruptions
- Peak-season shipping volume
- Missing or delayed information from the customer
A delay caused by one of these events does not automatically qualify an order for cancellation, refund, or compensation after production or shipment has begun.
Installation Disclaimer
Professional installation is strongly recommended for carbon fiber automotive parts.
Please test-fit the product before drilling, trimming, painting, applying adhesive, or making any permanent modification. Shipping protection does not cover damage caused by improper installation, modification, misuse, or failure to test-fit the product.
